Cash+, Classic portfolios, and Premium portfolios are the three investment types available in Plenty investment accounts.

Cash+ is a low-risk money market portfolio that is primarily composed of US Treasuries. Cash+ can be used for all Goal types.

Premium portfolios use a strategy called direct indexing to invest in stocks and bonds. Direct indexing has tax-loss harvesting benefits, and allows Plenty to apply values-based investing. There's no extra fee for using a Premium portfolio, but they are only available for Joint Goals. Classic portfolios invest in stocks and bonds using ETFs and do not have tax loss harvesting nor values-based investing.
